When I walked into the Energy Hall of the Science Museum, my eyes were instantly drawn to the 1903 Burnley Mill Engine. Its massive red flywheel—weighing around 20 tons—dominated the room, showing off the raw industrial power of that era. The exposed parts (pistons, crankshaft, and connecting rods) gave me a close-up look at the complex engineering behind Lancashire’s textile machines. The materials—cast iron, steel, and polished brass—felt solid and purposeful. Watching the flywheel move rhythmically (when operational) was mesmerizing—it showed how steam power smoothly turned into mechanical work. This dynamic display made me really appreciate the ingenuity behind the Industrial Revolution. Standing in front of this giant machine, I felt a mix of awe and reflection. It wasn’t just a piece of old tech—it symbolized human innovation and the relentless push for progress. It also made me think about the social changes it brought. I noticed all kinds of visitors—families, students, and enthusiasts—all captivated by the engine. Kids loved its size and movement, while adults dug into its history. It was cool to see how one machine could spark learning and conversations across generations. In the end, the Burnley Mill Engine isn’t just a relic—it’s a physical connection to our industrial past, and its spirit of innovation still inspires us today. SOme of those experience is designed especially for families and school- age teenager. That is for encouraging hands on interaction and generational conversation with people or explore their idea and skills. By collection many narratives and playful engagement, my aim is reframe these projects, not only about merely as relics, also as dynamic teaching tools. Like bridging past and present, or build the connect between machine and meaning. It is not only about project, it is more about power of museum. Through from above, I would like to learn or understanding more about museum, not just as spaces of preservation, but also platforms for imagination, empathy or discovery.

In this video, the collision created by the combination of the work and the melody is demonstrated. The changes in human organs and the blurring of vision make people feel as if they were taking a look at their own bodies.
The stomach is an emotional organ. In the work, the breathing stomach makes people feel its emotions. The living stomach gradually became abnormal and needed an injection to save itself. But it doesn't know either whether this is a real existence. Because it is being eroded, this erosion is visualized. The plasticized stomach, large intestine and small intestine are integrated with the plasticized living environment in the current one.
The opened body reveals the organs eroded by plasticization, and the wall of takeout bags in the background shows the current living environment. The semi-transparent packaging bags faintly reveal the outline of unsafe food, and each choice also imposes a burden on the body. The transparent food packaging showcases food made of plastic/takeout materials.

This is a behind-the-scenes video. I first presented the live scene of the work, the indescribable excitement I felt when I finished everything. Then came the process of making my work, such as piecing together the stomach and cutting the soap (seeking my grandma's help). Then I showed the on-site investigation record videos from my time in winchester, such as tesco, sainsbury's, McDonald's, etc. Finally, a complete discussion conversation with a passer-by who has conducted extensive research in nutrition was presented.

While watching this video, I was thinking that takeout has thus completely entered our lives, piecing together our stomachs (just like in the video), and we have no idea what they are made of. The distance between the person who makes the food and the person who eats it has been stretched. Let's put it another way: We start to eat less food made by our loved ones or cook less for them. We have no idea what a meal is and don't care what's in it. The time for meals has been repeatedly compressed. There are always people saying, "The stomach is an emotional organ." Perhaps only when one is full can they have the energy to do things. However, in modern society, the proportion of food is getting smaller and smaller. It seems to be less important and has begun to deviate from the part that our society has always valued and cherished. Some people say that the food nowadays seems to have become homogenized, either being too oily and salty or extremely spicy. It seems that everyone is eating the same kind of ready-to-eat meal with the same seasoning packet, just like in our daily life. The bubble wrap, sponge balls and plastic bags in the video. We live in such an environment where there are countless microplastics in our bodies and we blend in with the nature of the Earth. Then breathe, live.... ... Gradually, everyone seemed to realize that something was wrong with them, and thus they were labeled with different diseases. We began to take medicine in an attempt to save ourselves. But is it us who are ill or is it society that is? Has our digestive system been shaped by these, or has society shaped these things? The clock of society cannot stop, so we take medicine and keep on living.

The rhythm is very tense, and inner anxiety is expressed through actions. Organ simulation is very interesting. However, there will be some confusion without any explanation. The screen shaking needs an explanation.
