This is an immersive interactive game designed for museums, aiming to let visitors experience the
transformation of photography through the combination of historical cameras and digital
technology. The project focuses on three cameras, the Daguerreotype (1839), the Kodak Brownie
(1900) and the Polaroid SX-70 (1972), and restores their technological breakthroughs and
significance in the form of a word game. Through dynamic narrative and visual feedback, the s
complex scientific knowledge is transformed into palpable memories of time and space, creating
an interesting museum experience.
This project has achieved a better integration of form and content, successfully creating an
immersive retro photography experience. However, there is some room for optimization in the
actual design process. For example, the difficulty of some of the interactive questions and the
rhythm of feedback are slightly single, which may affect the continuity of user participation; in
addition, although the knowledge points are interesting, the density of information is unevenly
distributed, which is likely to lead to users jumping out of their understanding in some parts of
the process. In the future, we can consider introducing more guiding words, voice prompts or
contextual animations to enhance the balance between pedagogical and operational guidance.
