  • TASK01: INFORMING YOUR
    PRACTICE

    The R3 tasks begin this week. Your responses to each task should be saved as a .pdf and subsequently uploaded to your portfolio website. Unify the tasks by using a common graphical system to record your responses. The complete set of tasks (in .pdf format) should be available to read via a page-link in the main menu of your website. Use thumbnails as links to open each of your .pdf responses.

  • TASK02:PROTOTYPING

    The R3 tasks continue this week. Task 2 - Prototyping will inform your work on Project 2 - being Human. It also ties in with the Thursday class on Iteration and prototyping.

  • TASK03: EMPATHY

    The R3 tasks continue this week. Task 3 - This LinkedIn Learning short course on Empathy in Design will inform your work on Project 3 - which will launch in wk11.

  • TASK04:THE WORLD OF BILL VERPLANK

    The R3 tasks continue this week. Task 4 - Legendary talk from IxD veteran Bill Verplank.

  • TASK05: REFLECTION WITH DIEP

    The R3 tasks continue this week. Task 5 - introduces you to the DIEP method of reflective practice. Use this task as a practice and plan for your Final Reflective Report that should be included as Task 7 in your portfolio. Aim for completion of this task by: Sunday 12/01/25 - as usual this is a soft deadline that will give you time to think about how you will shape your Final Report. A further brief will follow concerning the Final Report.

  • TASK06:Assessment Checklist

    Print this checklist. Work through it, ticking the boxes as you go. Once done, scan or photograph it - tidy it up and include as an image for Task #6 of the R3 tasks.

  • TASK07: DIEP FINAL REPORT

    This R3 task is the Final Reflective Report of 1500 words (+/- 100 words).
