This experimental piece examines the emotional strain young adults face when returning home and engaging with family under social and cultural pressures. Inspired by interviews, psychological research, and everyday observations, the work combines 3D video, book design, and interactive installation to simulate the disorienting “jet lag” one might experience in family contexts. By presenting playful yet thought-provoking scenarios—such as airplane-meal routines and metaphorical food elements—the project encourages participants to reflect on shared anxieties, communication gaps, and the deeper bonds that shape family life.
